Field Trip to Hogpen Hill Farms (Fri, Oct 9 | 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM)

 Join us for a field trip with transportation to Hogpen Hill Farms, a 234-acre tree farm and landscape sculpture park featuring over 100 outdoor artworks by creator Edward Tufte. 

The works of art are positioned along a 1.5 mile diagonal and visitors can get up close to the artwork by following the miles of walking trails throughout the property (follow the signs and mowed grassy paths that traverse the property).  While walking through the property, visitors are encouraged to view the art from various angles and take note of “silhouettes, shadows, airspaces, glows, lighting, clouds, and color.” Bring comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and a picnic if you wish!
