Price range: $160.00 through $225.00

4 weeks

Mondays, 5:00 to 8:00 PM | Nov 2, 9, 18 and 23

Location: Washington Art Association General Studio

Learn to photograph your artwork so its color, texture, and character come through. In this hands-on workshop, photographer Matthew Corona Goldstein demonstrates how light works on paintings, sculpture, and glossy ceramics, then shows how to recreate useful setups at home with affordable materials. Using your own phone or camera, you’ll practice between weekly meetings and return with photographs to discuss and improve. Together, we’ll learn to spot glare, uneven lighting, distracting backgrounds, and color problems—and decide when an image is ready to use. Later sessions introduce basic editing, organizing your images, and creating a simple PDF portfolio for sharing, submissions, or a personal record. Open to all experience levels; no previous photography training is needed. Bring curiosity and a willingness to experiment with your own work.
