Animal Sutras

This collection of bronze, ceramic and plaster sculpture reflects the state of connection that I have experienced with the animal world.
Jon studied art and animal behavior at Bucknell University. He received his Masters of Fine Art from Penn State University with additional figure study at the Lyme Academy in Lyme, Connecticut.
He has exhibited his work throughout the Northeast in galleries and museums and he has won numerous awards including a Connecticut Arts Foundation Award and a MacDowell Fellowship.
Jon has taught sculpture in various locations including the Washington Art Association and Saint-Gaudens National Historic site, where he was the artist in residence.
