The Washington Art Association is pleased to announce the return of the Young Talent Exhibition, on view from February 14 to March 14, 2026, at our Washington Depot gallery. Please join us for the opening reception on Saturday, February 14, from 4 to 6 pm.

For over 20 years, the Young Talent Exhibition has been a key part of WAA’s programming, providing emerging artists with a valuable exhibition opportunity and community support. In 2026, WAA is proud to present this exhibition for a new group of artists working in diverse contemporary styles.

This year’s Young Talent Exhibition features 10 artists under 30, selected from a competitive pool of applicants. Their work spans painting, sculpture, textiles, installation, and mixed media, exploring themes such as material experimentation, memory, identity, landscape, and psychological experience.

The participating artists are Avery Fazio (Burlington, CT), Ethan Friedberg (Brooklyn, NY), Sarena Johnson (New Preston, CT), Traci Johnson (Brooklyn, NY), Xinchen Li (Albany, CA), Lindsay Liang (New York, NY), Yuming Griffin Liu (South Bend, IN), Zana
Naveed (Brooklyn, NY), Cole Palatini (New York, NY), and Hana Yoshikawa (Brooklyn, NY).
