Ikebana is the ancient Japanese art of flower arranging dating back to the 7^th century. It is a disciplined art form in which the arrangement is a living thing where nature and humanity are brought together. Professional Floral Designer, Susan Spanger will guide participants through techniques involving certain color combinations, natural shapes and graceful lines, all of which provide an overall foundation for floral design. All materials will be provided including vessels, living branches, grasses and blossoms. Join us for this meditative practice and create a beautiful work of art. This class is suitable for both beginners and experienced floral designers.
