Monotype Printmaking with Anthony Kirk

Description

This series of monotype classes will touch on the various ways artists make unique prints such as the different methods used by Degas, Klee and Prendergast.

Participants will be shown how to print with a press but also how to make monotypes printed by hand.

Furthermore, ways of enhancing the monotype will be investigated. Akua non-toxic inks will be used for several sessions, as well as traditional oil-based inks.
