In this class we will learn the ancient art of Suminagashi or “Floating Ink” marbling.
With just water, inks, brushes and various absorbent papers, we will create beautiful atmospheric patterns and images that can be used in many ways: as collage papers, backgrounds for paintings and prints, book arts pages, stand-alone abstracts or even meditation. Once learned, this technique can be done easily in your home studio. Good for all levels.
